21 stress-busting activities that you can refer to next time you may need it. Most of them do not cost anything and take little time to do. Let me share them with you…
- Breath deeper
- Focus on the moment
- Connect with nature (even just looking out of the window and consciously connecting with something you see outside helps)
- Take a bath (going to the Spa is even better when possible)
- Laugh as much as possible
- Watch the news as little as possible (just enough to know what is going on in the world)
- Make love
- Get enough sleep (very important!)
- Dance
- Sing
- Stretch
- Be kind to self
- Eat chocolate
- Put things in perspective
- Change your expectations (of self, others, or the circumstances)
- Spend time with people you love to be with
- De-clutter the closet
- Clear your working space
- Cry if you feel like it (release emotions)
- Help someone else who is stressed
- Be grateful
